Every new beginning carries its own energy, but there is something particularly special about the first day at SBS Swiss Business School Barcelona Campus. Our Spring 2026 Welcome Days marked the beginning of a new chapter for a fresh group of Bachelor students, bringing together new faces, new ambitions, and a shared sense of excitement for what lies ahead.
For students beginning their journey at our campus, Welcome Days represent the first step in studying business within an international and career-focused learning environment in Barcelona.
A Warm Welcome from Our Campus Director
The day began with an official welcome session led by Adrià Alsina, our Campus Director, who set the tone for the term ahead. Students had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the values, opportunities, and expectations that define the SBS Barcelona experience. It was a moment to pause, look around the room, and truly appreciate the diverse and talented group of people they would be sharing this journey with.
Building the Academic Foundation
Following the welcome session, students turned their focus to academics. Orientation sessions walked the new group through their program structure, learning objectives, and the full range of student tools and resources available to them throughout their studies. From digital platforms to academic support services, the goal was simple: ensure every student leaves day one feeling informed, equipped, and ready to hit the ground running. Understanding the road ahead from the very start is something we believe sets our students up for long-term success.
Discovering Barcelona Together
No Welcome Day at SBS Barcelona would be complete without experiencing the city itself. Students took part in a guided city tour, exploring some of Barcelona’s most iconic streets and landmarks before sitting down together for a shared lunch. It was the perfect opportunity to break the ice, form connections, and begin to feel at home in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.
A Toast to New Beginnings
The day came to a fitting close with a celebratory toast, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to celebrate this new chapter. It is a tradition that speaks to something fundamental about SBS Swiss Business School Barcelona: this is not just an institution, it is a community. And every new intake makes it stronger.
